As of March 12, 2020 at 8:45 a.m. Central, NCAA Division III Tournament Director Dick Simmons told the NWMA that all credentialed media who were granted credentials to the Division III Wrestling Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, PRIOR to the announcement on March 11 of no fan attendance would still be permitted to cover the event on site.
Division III will not be granting any additional media credentials other than what was already previously approved.
Division I: I reached out to NWMA member Matt Holmes from the NCAA and understandably, there's a lot on his plate right now. He would let the media know something as soon as he knew something concrete. When I have an update on the media access for the Division I Wrestling Championships, I will post it here.
Division II: I have reached out to the NCAA regarding Division II wrestling media access in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I will post an update here when I hear back about that site's policy.
