For this year’s U.S. Open in April, World Team Trials Challenge Tournament in May and Final X events in June, USA Wrestling will be utilizing a credential portal through its membership system for various categories of credential requests, including athletes, coaches, sponsors and medical.

HOW TO USE CREDENTIAL PORTAL

Below is important information regarding the U.S. Open:

All credential requests for the 2022 USMC U.S. Open in Las Vegas must be submitted no later than Friday, April 15, 2022 via the credential portal. Late credentials will cost $100 and must be paid prior to obtaining credential on-site.

Please note: athletes are automatically uploaded into the credential portal upon registering and paying entry fee for an event.

In order to apply for a credential, anyone interested must have an up-to-date USA Wrestling Membership card, which also includes SafeSport training and passing USA Wrestling’s background check (athletes born 2003 or earlier). Once that is obtained, applicants MUST upload a headshot to the portal. The photo should be of head and shoulders ONLY. No photo with hats or glasses will be accepted.

Coaches wanting a credential must also have a NCEP Bronze Certification or higher. While credential application is still required, coaches with a gold or silver certification are free, and coaches with a bronze certification cost $40.

Senior-level clubs and college programs with athletes registered by Wednesday, April 13 are eligible for one (1) complimentary coach floor pass for every three (3) athletes per style entered. In order to receive a complimentary coach’s floor pass, email Christina Hargrove at chargrove@usawrestling.org by April 13 at 7pm CT.  If you miss this deadline, you will NOT receive complimentary passes.

Those interested in obtaining a media credential should do so through the media pool in the USA Wrestling membership system.
